Somatic therapy with Rachel has been a mind and body opening experience. I hadn’t known what somatic therapy was before starting these sessions and now I cannot express my gratitude enough for the techniques that I have learned to better ground myself and regulate my emotions in times of extreme distress. I’m feeling better equipped to handle the big emotions that tend to get me stuck in my head and stuck in analysis paralysis. I feel more aware on how to bring myself back from dark places that I couldn’t before. I’m understanding more about my emotions and body than I have before. I’m excited to continue to practice these techniques and dive further into healing the trauma I have stored in my body with the help of these mindfulness practices.

I am only 4 sessions in on my process with Rachel and I can already tell that my body awareness has improved, I feel more emotionally resilient, and I’ve developed a greater sense of inner calm and connection with myself. Each session has been uniquely tailored to my needs, whether I have been dealing with stress, emotional blockages, or simply wanting to reconnect with my body. Rachel always takes the time to listen deeply and adjust her techniques to match where I am on a particular day, ensuring that the work feels both relevant and impactful. She has created a safe, nurturing environment that allows me to be vulnerable without fear of judgment. Her tools and techniques, from grounding exercises to mindful movement, have been incredibly effective. I am finding myself not only more aware of my body but also better equipped to manage stress and emotions in my daily life. So thankful for this wonderful experience that is leading me back to my heart, my needs, and my sovereignty. Totally recommended!
